MANKETTI SEED OIL
Manketti Oil , also known as Mongongo oil, contains high levels of Vitamin E (tocopherol) and polyunsaturated fatty acids, making it highly beneficial for skin protection. It is effective not only for moisturizing the skin but also for restructuring and rejuvenating the epidermis. While Manketti Oil is effective in soothing severely dry and flaky skin conditions, its remarkable absorbency makes it perfectly suited for all skin types (dry, sensitive, mature, oily) as it will not clog pores. The high Vitamin E content also provides the oil with excellent stability and protects the oil from going rancid. Rich in powerful antioxidants, Manketti Oil helps fight free radicals and help maintain skin elasticity to prevent signs of premature aging and wrinkles.
Ethically and sustainably sourced from Manketti nuts which grow on mongongo trees in northern Namibia, Manketti is loaded with vitamin E (around 563mg per 100g of shelled nuts) and a plethora of nutrients including calcium, magnesium, protein, zinc and copper. Unlike coconut oil that is higher in saturated fatty acids or monosaturated jojoba oil, Manketti is high in polyunsaturated fatty acids, which act as a barrier to help prevent moisture from escaping from the skin for longer.

Namibians have long used this magnificent oil to clean and hydrate the skin. More people around the world are quickly becoming aware of its benefits and appreciating that it is a safe and beneficial ingredient packed with proteins, polyunsaturated fatty acids which act as a barrier to aid moisture retention, vitamin E which is a known powerful antioxidant that helps stave off skin damage and signs of aging, and protein. The alpha-Eleostearic acid contained in mongongo oil adds a layer of sun protection to this powerful oil.
